Description / Inspiration
The Artist’s design features a number of elements – portraits of Bill O’Brien, a local Aboriginal Elder affectionately known as “Uncle Bill”, and Lachlan Macquarie, the Governor of NSW, 1810 to 1821- wrapped in Australia’s flora and fauna. The design name, Garage Girl, pays tribute to one of the oldest local female koalas who recently died of old age.
